Kevin W. Rowland
Since 1989 Kevin has worked as an employee or consultant for several businesses, from family owned, publicly traded to a privately held world leader. It is from that experience that he discovered the profound need in this competitive world market for small to medium size businesses to have access to skilled resources that many large organizations have in house. "As the world of business and people have evolved, all businesses must utilize approaches and resources large organizations have used for years." It was from this business perspective and demand, that he founded the Kevin W. Rowland Consulting Company in 2005.
Education and Experience
Raised in the Central Valley of California, Kevin a High School All-American. He accepted and attended Lubbock Christian College in Lubbock Texas on a Baseball Scholarship while pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He began to discover the relationship between Performance in Sports and Business while playing on a defending National Championship Team. He went on to conduct Independent Research in Organizational Development and Psychology while attending Texas Tech University also in Lubbock. His pursuit of individual and group performance from sports to business would be something he has dedicated his life to.
Later he attended the University of California at Davis to obtain a Certification from the Better Processing Control School to assist in Production Process Management. While working for Nestle USA he was selected to travel throughout the US with the Organizational Development group in which they would train and develop other Nestle managers. In addition, he was also selected as one of six members on a Re-Design Team that implemented team based environments. He has been a recognized member of the Society of Human Resources Management, Who's Who in Industry - Metropolitan Executive & Professional Registry, in addition to involvement in various charitable organizations.
In his involvement with Business Management, Operations, Security and Human Resources, he has worked as a Consultant, Human Resources Director/Manager, Vice President, Plant Manager, Project Manager and Production Manager in which he had several accomplishments with Plant start ups, Developing Team based Environments, Extensive Training Programs, Re-Organizations, Union Contract Negotiations, Litigation Management, Expansions, Product Development, Food Safety Programs (HACCP), Establishing Distribution Channels and Shipping World-Wide, that highlight in brief his well rounded experience.

Since the inception of VTEC (Visalia Technical Early College) in 2009 he participated in the advisory board and helped to develop the curriculum that supported what employers would view as vaulable and needed. Since 2014 he resides as the President & Chair of VTEC High School Advisory Board. Also sits on the Strategic Planning Board
A Member of the DA’s Office of Tulare County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force. He continues to work to promote and develop Pathways for students into the workplace as well as work on community and workplace issues to address Harassment, Workplace Violence, Bullying, Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse, Human Trafficking, Organizational Development Self-Defense and Improved Performance.
He also sits on the Advisory Board for San Joaquin Valley College
In addition he participates in the Visalia Economic Development Industrial Roundtable.

For several years he was a member and sat on the Workforce Investment Advisory Board of Tulare County which develops training programs for employers to improve the skills of their employees.
Kevin is an avid Mixed Martial Artist, Self-Defense Instructor and Community Contributor. He has been trained by Rener & Ryron Gracie, a Gracie Academy Graduate in Gracie Survival Tactics and a GST Certified Instructor (a system to neutralize violent acts that was designed for Law Enforcement and the Army Rangers), a Certified Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Facilitator, a Subject Matter Expert in Sexual Harassment and other Harassment Areas related to the workplace.
